Assam Forest Department Physical Standards:

Forester-I Height (Minimum)

Exam Pattern:

There will be Two phases of examination (i.e. Phase-I and Phase-II). The applicant clearing the Phase-I examination will only be called for the Phase-II examination. After this, the medical examination is conducted and then a final merit list will be prepared.

Forester-I and Forest Guard:

On arrival, the Admit Card / Call Letter of the applicants will be verified by the department and then the applicants will be asked to appear in the Physical Standard Test (PST). Now marks will be given for the PST. Measurement of the weight, height, and chest (only for Males) of the applicants will be taken after which the applicant will be inspected by a medical officer for preliminary checkup like vision test, color blindness test, knocked knee, varicose vein, flat foot, physical deformities, etc. Varicose vein shall be considered a temporary disqualification. Once a candidate clears the PST, he/she will have to appear in the first phase test.

First Phase Test: In this test, the Forester-I & Forest Guards will go through the Physical Fitness Test comprising of 26 KMs (for Males) and 16 KMs (for Females) walk to be covered within 4 (four) hours.

Second Phase Test: In this step a written examination of 03 hours for the Forester-I and 02 hours examination for Forest Guard will be conducted.

Assam Forest Department Stenographer Syllabus:

First Phase Test: A written examination will be conducted under the First Phase Examination.

Second Phase Test: Practical Test will be conducted in the Second Phase Test and the same will carry 50 marks.

Surveyor Driver, Carpenter and Mahut:

Fist Phase Test: In the First Phase there will be a common Written Test of 02 hours on the subjects as given below. There will be 75 questions of 75 marks completely OMR based. Each question will be of 1 (one) mark. There will be negative marking of 1/2 mark for each wrong answer. The applicants will have to use a black ball pen to answer the OMR based answer sheet.

Second Phase Test: In this phase the Skill Test/ Practical Test will be conducted.
