Botanist: Master’s degree in the Botany/ Life Science/ Horticulture/ Agriculture with 03-years of experience in the Angiosperms/ Gymnosperms/ Algae/ Lichens/ Fungi/ Bryophytes/ Pteridophytes/ Arboriculture/ Horticulture/ Economic Botany/ Forestry/ Ecology & Environment/ Museology.
Legal Officer: Master degree in Law (LL.M) with a specialization in the field of International Relations/ Law or International Organization with at least 05-years of experience after obtaining the minimum qualification in the Legal Affairs, Legal Practitioner, in Legal Services of the government, Guiding or Teaching or Conducting research in the International Law or in the Law of International Organizations. Note: The applicants having specialization in the International Law in M.Phil or Ph.D. level but not at the Master’s level will also be eligible.
Join Assistant Director: B.E. or B. Tech or B.Sc. Union Public Service Commission Selection Process:
The selection is going to be on the basis of Interview or by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by the interview. There will be UR-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ ST/ PH-40 marks out of the total marks of an interview being 100.

Assistant Professor: The applicants applying for the UPSC Assistant Professor Vacancy should have a Post-graduate degree in Chemistry with specialization in Bio-Chemistry. Must be having 05-years Research/ Practical/ Teaching experience at a degree level in the Bio-Chemistry. OR Directorate in Bio-Chemistry with 03-years practical/ research/ teaching experience at degree level in the Bio-Chemistry.
Deputy Director: The applicants applying for the UPSC Deputy Director Vacancy should have a Masters degree in Fisheries Science or M.Sc. in Zoology/ Marine Biology with specialization in Fisheries. Must be having 03-years experience in the field of Inland and Marine Fisheries Development.
Desirable Experience:
Assistant Professor: Research experience in Carbohydrate Chemistry and experience of guiding research work.
Deputy Director: Ph.D. with specialization in Fisheries.
Duties
Assistant Professor: 1) Teaching, research, and advisory. 2) Any other work assigned by the Professor (Bio-Chemistry) or Director.
Deputy Director: To assist the Joint Director of Fisheries in the Administrative and Technical matters.
Salary
- Assistant Professor: Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC.
- Deputy Director: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC.
Age Limit
- Assistant Professor: 40 Years.
- Deputy Director: 35 Years.
Age Relaxation
- Central/ U.T. Govt Servants: Up to 05-Years.
- SC/ ST: Up to 10-Years.
- OBC: Up to 08-Years.
- PH (General): Up to 10-Years.
- PH (SC/ST): Up to 15-Years.
- PH (OBC): Up to 13-Years.
UPSC Jobs Selection Process
The selection for the UPSC Recruitment will be made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by the interview, will be UR-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PH-40 marks, out of the total marks of the interview being 100.
Note: If selection is made by the Recruitment Test (RT) followed by the interview, then the applicants will have to achieve the minimum level of suitability in their respective category at both stages i.e. “Recruitment Test” as well as the interview.

The applicants have to pay the application fee of Rs. 25/- (General and OBC) by paying it at any branch of State Bank of India. You may also pay the application fee through your Credit/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking. SC/ST/ PH/ Women candidates are exempt from the application fee.
